Shipping Terms

We ship all international orders via DHL courier service. 
Please allow 1-2 business days for processing and from 2-4 business days for delivery, depending on your location.

We offer free shipping on on orders within Iceland as well as all international orders over $100.00 US.

Duties and Taxes
You may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a 
shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance 
must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot 
predict what they may be.

Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should 
contact your local customs office for further information. When ordering 
from www.alrun.is, you are considered the importer of record and must 
comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are 
receiving the goods.

Returns
We do our very best to ensure the satisfaction of our customers. We 
will gladly accept the return of faulty or unused items in their 
original condition and packaging. With the original receipt, you may 
return your item for a full refund issued to the original form of 
payment, within 30 days of your purchase date. Any shipping fees that 
you paid on the original order are final and will not be refunded.

Items may be returned at your own expense, and must include the 
original order number, date of return, your contact information 
(including email), and the details of your request. We will then be 
happy to replace your item, shipped to you at no extra cost, or we will 
perform a full refund if you prefer.

In certain situations, only partial refunds are granted (if applicable):
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for 
reasons not due to our error, Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email 
to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also 
notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit 
will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of 
payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account 
again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before 
your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items 
cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to 
exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@alrun.is and

shipping and handling charges to and from alrun.is, or paying or 
refunding customs fees, taxes, or VAT that may be due.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs in the 
event that you need to return your item. Shipping costs are 
non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged 
product to reach you may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a 
trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can’t 
guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
