FREE WORLDWIDE COURIER SHIPPING
Alrún Nordic Design is pleased to offer you complimentary courier shipping on all orders above $200.00 USD. Jewelry items come packaged in our signature black gift boxes.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
We ship standard international orders via Iceland Post's trackable service, which will be transferred to your country's national postal service upon entry and would generally require you to pick up the package at your local post office. Please allow 1-2 business days for processing and 3-8 business days for delivery. Standard shipping cost is approximately $14.00 USD.
For international courier orders, we ship via DHLcourier service. Please allow 1-2 business days for processing and 2-4 business days for delivery. Delivery by international courier is approximately $28.00 USD.
Please note that shipping is separate from any import taxes or duties you might owe in your own country. Alrún Nordic Design does not cover those amounts (see further details below).
INBOUND VAT, SALES AND USE TAXES, AND IMPORT DUTIES
We will include the original sales receipt and order value in the customs declaration. You are liable to pay any inbound taxes or duties imposed by your country's tax and customs authorities. If any such taxes or duties are payable, DHL will collect them from you and remit them to the relevant authorities in your country. DHL charges an administration fee for this service, which is approximately $10.00.
DOMESTIC ORDERS
For orders within Iceland, we offer free shipping via Iceland Post (Pósturinn) and will email you with your package's tracking number when shipped. Standard shipping cost within Iceland is $ 6.00 USD
CUSTOMS AND DUTIES
Orders may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.
As customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, when ordering from alrun.is, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.
There are no additional fees, customs duties or taxes charged in Iceland for export. For products to be delivered within Iceland, a VAT of 24% will be added.
In all cases, Alrún Nordic Jewelry ehf. will not be responsible for any shipping and handling charges to and from alrun.is, or paying or refunding customs fees, taxes, or VAT that may be due.
